I was fortunate to head to Charleston, South Carolina for a wedding mid-May 2012 for the most down-to-earth couple! :) The ceremony was at Folly Beach (because of the weather, unfortunately not ON the sand as planned but in a house overlooking the beach so not too shabby at all) and the reception was held at Magnolia Plantation Gardens - both AMAZING venues with gorgeous outlooks.. and it all couldn't have been more down my alley. Not only were the bride and groom (and their families) so easy-going and welcoming, but the brides style with chalk-boards and dessert tables and vintage details was just AWESOME to say the least! She thought of everything, from her vintage "message in a bottle" style wedding invitations to the unique (real vintage) items brought in and placed around the Conservatory at Magnolia. The type-writer guest book (that actually worked) was VERY neat and what a way to leave a note for their guests! I loved being a part of such an intimate ceremony and truly enjoyed my day spent with this couple! The only thing that prompted me to leave at the end of the night (past my scheduled finishing time) was the fact that I had to wake up again in 5hrs for my next flight!
